Aviation Career Day 2017 & 2018
The Whiteside County Airport, in cooperation with airport-based businesses and organizations, has hosted an Aviation Career Day and Airport Open House in 2017 and 2018. The Aviation Career Day featured exhibitors from area aviation businesses, corporate flight departments, aircraft charter companies, regional airlines, air traffic control facilities, military recruitment, community colleges, and state universities. The purpose of this Aviation Career Day is to inspire the next generation of aviation industry professionals from pilots to mechanics and beyond.
